VSR4 / LinkDESX was developed specifically for VSR4 users to allow efficient interaction between your school's Internet web site and the VSR4 student administration software. VSR4 LinkDESX can list courses offered and allow online registering from any computer with access to the Internet. These online registrations can then be accepted and automatically recorded into the VSR4 database or rejected with the ability to send notification emails or print response letters.

VSR4 / LinkDESX consist of two parts as shown in the diagram below. The LinkDESX console and the Web Server. The console is Installed on one of your PC's just like VSR4 is now. This software can be installed on any PC that has access to the VSR4 data tables and the Internet.

The Web Server is a unique piece of software that is installed and run on Sooner Micro Systems' Web Server. This component will automatically accept your data from the client component and serve up the web pages as you've instructed. SMS monitors and maintains this so you don't have to.

You control what goes out and what comes into VSR4 from the LinkDESX console software. Many easy to use options at the LinkDESX console will help you manage posting and retrieving your web site data.
